Selection Process

Teams are selected by members of the Louisiana Sports Writers Association, specifically,  a committee made up of chapter chairmen or their designees, the high school relations liaison and up to six other appointees who meet either in person or by teleconference to select teams. In advance of the voting, coaches are asked to nominate players by position and provide statistics.
